Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child Program

Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child is a special community partnership program that shares the voices of children from the Floyd County School District on WMDJ FM 100.1 radio and at www.WMDJFM.com. The Floyd County School District posts information about the program at www.Floyd.kyschools.us. The program began in 1998, as an idea of Dr. Patricia C. Watson to “give back to the community” by sharing the students voices. This year (2023)  marks the 26th year celebration, and in this time span, 3,600 students and likely, more, have read their own pieces on the radio to our community.
