--Invitation to Bid/Request for Proposals—
Pursuant to KRS 45A.365 and Board Policy 04.32, the Floyd County Board of Education seeks to engage a highly qualified security integrator who is an authorized RBH access control, inc. installer and integrator; for the expansion of our existing RBH access control system to 9 new locations within our school district. We are hereby providing notice that the Board will receive sealed bids for this project.
Bid Specifications and Bid Forms may be obtained by contacting Denise Isaac or John Greer Hunt via phone at 606-886-2354, via e-mail at [email protected] , or via mail at 442 KY RT. 550, Eastern, KY 41622.
Bids will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday August 18, 2021 and will be opened on the same date at 12:05 p.m. EDT. All envelopes must be clearly marked SEALED BID- Access Control on the outside of the envelope. All proposals must be received by the time designated and none will be considered thereafter. The Board of Education cannot assume the responsibility for any delay as a result of failure of the mails to deliver the bids on time. FAXED OR EMAILED BIDS CANNOT BE EXCEPTED. Proposals will be publicly opened and recorded at the time and location stated above.
The contract(s) may be awarded to the lowest and/or best evaluated qualified proposal(s) meeting all specifications and conditions, subject to all other provisions of the items/services request for proposal and be in the best interest of The Board of Education. A one year contract with the option to renew annually for each item/service listed above is scheduled to be awarded at the board meeting to be held at 6:30 PM, August 23, 2021 at the Floyd County Board of Education, 442 KY RT. 550, Eastern, KY 41622.
