Floyd County Schools Superintendent Danny Adkins wants to remind everyone about Infinite Campus apps as one of the ways students and parents can stay informed about what is going on in the classroom.

Adkins comments, “We’re excited to start school tomorrow and we wanted to just remind our parents, guardians and our students about one way you can stay up to date with your child’s school information through Infinite Campus, the system Kentucky uses for student information.” Adkins continues, “They have released two new apps called Campus Parent and Campus Student. These apps are designed to give parents and students real-time access to grades, attendance information, assignments, and more. And for those of you who already have the old Campus Portal app, it will no longer be supported.”

To get the new app, follow these steps:

  • Go to your App Store, search for "Campus Student" or "Campus Parent".
  • After downloading and launching the app, enter the Floyd as the District name, select KY as the state and click on Search
  • Choose Floyd County Schools to access our district’s system.
  • Enter your username and password to log in to the system.

If you do not have a Parent portal account, please contact your child’s school to receive your unique GUID access key to set up your portal account.

Adkins comments, “We want our students and families to be informed and to partner with us. Your involvement can positively influence a student’s success. We want to make sure we provide amazing opportunities for all students and we want our students to be ready to capitalize on those opportunities. Basically, when we all work together, students can be more successful and that’s our goal”

Superintendent Adkins ends his comments with a plea to students and parents saying, “Attend open house events, schedule conferences with teachers and use this app to stay up to date on your child’s information. When we work together, your child benefits. Let’s choose to be partners in educating the kids of Floyd County.”
