Vision Statement 
The vision of the Floyd County Schools Department of Human Resourcesis to become a recognized leader in human resources and organizational development and to support the goals of the Floyd County Schools by working to remove barriers in order that our employees may devote their full energy and passion to ensuring success for all our students. 

Mission Statement
The mission of the Floyd County Schools Department of Human Resources is to assist the Floyd County Schools in ensuring success for all our students through the recruitment and retention of highly-qualified employees. 

Department Goals
In support of the vision and mission statements, the Human Resources Department has developed the following goals:
  • Supporting and assisting all district employees in achieving their goals.
  • Providing personalized, courteous and trustworthy service, along with patience and compassion to anyone needing our assistance. 
  • Taking responsibility as a department, and as employees, for the work we do and for the image we present as representatives of the Floyd County School District.
  • Working as a team to develop partnerships thorough continuous open communication with our employees and our community.
  • Promoting personal and professional growth along with job satisfaction for all employees.
  • Contributing to an environment that encourages and values employee creativity, productivity and risk taking.
  • Always seeing the human side of our work and never forgetting to maintain our sense of humor.
